Ever hard-working and searching for new outlets for their escapades, these sonic upstarts have now signed an exclusive singles deal with Pure Groove Records, culminating in a special edition 7” featuring the live favourite ‘Window’ and new track ‘Flame Thrower’.
The band continue to plough their organic electronics, skewed psych-pop, soulful rhythms and warm soundscapes into surging choruses and lush vocal harmonies. Melancholy and warm like a sunny, golden twighlight evening, ‘Flame Thrower’ matches the textures of the up-beat, DFA style lo-fi jerky disco of ‘Window’. It’s like 10cc on 10 cc of Valium.
The limited edition 7” is down for only 500 copies, available from the Pure Groove Records shop and a handful will be available at the band's "Hindenburg Mile High Club" nights which have hosted leftfield talent such as Boningen, Speak and the Spells, Not Cool and Micachu and the shapes and Innercity Pirates.
